About

Victory Assembly of God is a fellowship of the Assemblies of God. Our beliefs can be found by clicking the doctrine button under the AG logo below.  In a short summary we believe that God created man in the garden of Eden where they succumbed to sin.  In an act of grace above the comprehension of man, they were cast out into the field where they would live until such time that the Lord sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in an act of redemption for man.  He rose on the third day and subsequently ascended to the right hand of the Father where He waits until such time the Lord sees fit to send Him back for His bride, that is His second coming, the church.  The church consists of those who believe in their hearts and profess with their tongues, that Jesus is their savior who died for their sins and rose on the third day, and are actively repentant (meaning they turn from sinful lives).
Pertaining to the propulsion of the Gospel through missions, we believe there are two types of Christians: Those who go and those who send.  We believe it is important to play an active role in missions and missionary support as the Spirit leads and directs us.  In a similar mindset, Victory encourages believers to actively serve their families, fellow Christians, and communities in a fashion where they work to become the hands and feet of Christ.

Jasmine Carter serves faithfully as our Children's Pastor.  Jasmine's love for children is superseded only by her passion for instilling a foundation of biblical truth and instruction within the children at Victory.  She works diligently to prepare lessons that will impact young people's lives for Christ while facilitating a worship experience that fosters hearts of worship and promotes spiritual growth.  She has previously served as an Assistant Children's Pastor as well as a church administrator before coming to Victory.  Jasmine provides an excellent example for the children to follow in worship, study, giving, and serving. In addition to Children's ministry, Jasmine works in home health care and is seeking higher education at the collegiate level for human services.

Worship ministry

The importance of worshiping the Lord cannot be overlooked and our Sunday services open with a time of praise and worship. Our worship team is lead by Kelly Tillman and is predominately contemporary yielding to the direction of the Holy spirit.  Our worship team is comprised of a mixture of musicians and vocalists of various backgrounds who come together to lead the body in worship every Sunday. Kelly brings a tremendous amount of experience to our worship team and spends a great deal of time seeking the Lord so that she can better facilitate our worship service.
